Fellow parents will appreciate the lack of space or privacy when living in close quarters with children. I love my kids dearly, but sometimes I need to just get away and be by myself. This can be a bit of a challenge in a small apartment with no office!!

Today, overwhelmed with work on my to-do list, I did the unthinkable and
took my laptop into the bathroom with me. And you know what? It might just be the most brilliant idea I ever had!!! Closing the door to drown out the screetches of Dr. Doom and his magic castle in the boys' bedroom, I managed to write two blogs, draft an article already a week overdue, craft a letter for my upcoming trip to Honduras, revise a report for work and read two pages from the Daily Bread. Excellent!
