Instructional Intelligence - Honduras!
Sometimes we teachers take our many opportunities for professional learning for granted. There are places in the world where educators have very limited access to professional development opportunities. In the winter of 2011, my boys and I were invited to Honduras for 5 days to learn about life in a small school there, and to share
some instructional strategies with the teachers. Happily, my primary employer at the time, Tyndale University, supported me in this endeavor by allowing me the time to travel to Honduras in February. What an exciting opportunity to share, learn and grow!
While there, I blogged and posted photos on this website (please visit my Honduras Blog to check it out!). Original info about the project is below... |
(From Dec 2010)
