What do YOU think?

So, my girlfriend, whose opinion I generally respect, hates the new look of my website. She says the font is too big, and it looks ridiculous; that if she stumbled upon such a thing on her own, she'd never read it.

I thought the chart paper look was kind of funky, a little teacher-esque, without being too kitch. Or? Am I way off here?

Regular readers, what do YOU think? Do you like the new look of the blog and website, or is it driving you nuts? Please, leave a comment below...

Well since you ask...
Alas, I wear bifocals now and have some difficulty reading the pale grey letters (or pale red) on grey background. Higher contrast and a sharper font would be easier for me. I had to zoom in my browser, and still have some trouble with the main text and a lot of trouble with the tiny writing in the sidebar.
However the header titles and beautiful photo, background colour, coffee cup all look great, no need to change them. :)

Looks fine to me !!! too be Honest i never noticed you changed it !!!! We all view so many on a daily basis that our eyes just look for what we seek !!!!! works for me !!!!! the beauty is you can update it as often as you want !!!!!! Tats is sooooo fussy !!!!! But what do I know , i am just a man !!!!!! WWC
