Welcome to Vera's Music Cabin!
In the spring of 2010, we sold our Toronto home, moved into a small apartment, and bought a house in St Peter's Harbour, PEI! In an effort to carve out more "vacation" time for our family, we hope to spend at least a few weeks each summer out there.
Music has always played an important role in my life... as Psalm 95 proclaims:
Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
But I have not spent enough time in song over the past several years. :-( So, in the fall of 2010, we added a cabin to our lot. In 2011, we finished the floors and outfitted this cabin with some used drums. Our hope is to build a deck next , then find a piano, as well as perhaps a xylophone, so that music will once again flourish in our home!
Looking forward to the possibility of hosting drum circles in 2012. (Okay, make that 2014, hehe... sorry, got distracted with working on my PPL the past two summers!)
