How can we hope to achieve great things for our country if our children are being "taught" by average minds at best?! And as a thinker myself (no I'm not brilliant, but I do have some meaty ideas I enjoy discussing and sometimes implementing), I have rarely found myself mentally challenged by my immediate colleagues.
But I think I have discovered some smart people!
Most of the guys in my Ground School class have PhDs and work for companies like this: http://www.miltenyibiotec.com/en/default.aspx Makes me feel pretty Mickey Mouse, lol!
My director at the university is always prodding me to pursue my PhD... My response is always that I think my three degrees, principal's qualifcations and (hopefully) soon PPL are enough! But, maybe I SHOULD get a PhD, so at least I can pretend to know what I am doing in my own field.
