Well, once the novelty of lounging around in one's jammies reading aloud a few good books together wears off, and the demands of the sick kid overtake you, it's hard not to
succumb to the "babysitter box" -- So, dear little Alex is watching a little high quality garbage while I take a few minutes to make lunch and catch up on some emails.
Can I also add that Vera does not like eggplant!
I'm all for trying new things lately... so when the option to do some kind of eggplant pasta thing at Supperworks arose, we decided to go for it. But having tasted the fruits of my labours at lunch today, I must say, I am not impressed. I don't like eggplant. It is too chewy, rubbery. Nah, not for me.
Well, might as while do a bit of studying while Alex is engaged in the X-men!!
