After finally convincing crazy puppy that maybe this stick might be a little large, she agreed to come walk nicely back to the apartment, stopping along the way to do some duck/swan-watching from the deck.
Now that her leg is healing nicely, Sneakers is out and about again for leash walks (and soon, apparently, off-leash walks, too!) Today's adventures took us along the waterfront trail in Mimico, and -- undeterred by the cloudy skies above -- the dawg happily pranced about, even attempting to collect rather a large "stick" along the way... Now, it's not that I want to discourage our little pup from dreaming BIG, but I do think that in this case she may have been biting off more than she could chew, both figuratively and in actuality! She, of course, did not see it that way, and spent a good number of minutes attempting to dislodge the enormous log from the ground and carry it away with her, despite its being approximately five times her size!
