Ahzimuth 

"Azimuth" was a word I learned while doing my flight training in 2011. Essentially it's a word to describe the path from here, to there.  It seemed like the perfect name for a consulting business... but with the "h" included, I personalized it to capture those exciting lightbulb moments that happen along the learning journey. Ah!

learning in a post-pandemic world

You can see the sorts of professional learning I have facilitated in the past by taking a peek here. The technology we have now, combined with pandemic-related needs for physically distanced solutions, means most of our work can now be done virtually.

Whether through Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or some other video con technology, we'll still meet face to face, and arrange elements of synchronous and asynchronous engagement for you and/or your team.

Although I often work independently with you, through my many years in public education and beyond, I have met a number of people who may add value to our work, and sometimes I will call on these folks to join us in our learning journey.

As a former mentor of mine used to say, "change happens one fine conversation at a time".  Sometimes these conversations can be facilitated through a webinar, provoking thought and inspiring new direction.   Most often, though, they begin with a series of 1:1 or small group conversations (by email or phone, through video conference or in person). Building this personal relationship allows me to assess your current position, learn more about your desired state, and consider how I can best support your journey from A to B!

​Typically, I do not book one-off sessions; the research shows that longer-term relationships that foster job-embedded learning are most effective for reaching one's organizational goals.
